Canva you or Canva you not?

Our office is like the Marie Celeste today.  The Guvnor is working from his home office, Mrs Guvnor is no doubt annoying the life out of him while he is trying to work as there are things to do, places to go and if the hubby is at home, why not use him!  The Secret Squirrel aka Sam is off and Top Cat is at meetings all day.  So that just leaves me and the Flying Kilt in the office.  Silence.  The flying kilt has an aversion to noise, any noise even my voice so I am typing this in a hushed tone…..

It’s strange isn’t it that the lead up to the Christmas break we tear around trying to finish projects or get things done that have been hanging about all year just because we are closed for a few days.  It’s a mental process we go through to say at the end of the year, all that we had planned has been executed and put to bed before we start all over again in the new year.  Amongst that is the inevitable Christmas shopping, parties, nights out with friends we might not see for a few days……well that’s often what it is!  Getting the house ready (if you are a Christmas sort of person), sending out the obligatory Christmas cards, virtual or otherwise.  All because of the switchover from one year to another.  We are nuts!

But what it does do is focus our minds.  We have goals and tasks we are determined to complete so we doggedly commit to doing them.  We work late, put more effort in than perhaps we have all year, just to complete the outstanding things before the end of the year.  Then, it’s no wonder we arrive on Christmas eve totally exhausted and ready for a lie in.  Something wrong with this picture?

For me, today is a day of experimenting, well I call it working but it is kinda of experimenting.  I have been looking at what delights I can create for our social media offerings.  I have had such fun with singing elves, and dancing Christmas trees….. you will have to wait till the 21st to see them.  But in addition, its other posts I will be doing over the next few weeks so it got me thinking I could share one of the free sites I use for making posts…..its great fun and easy so my Fit4U offering is Canva.
